How to copy the IRIS database between two PC

- Close IRIS on both the PC and be sure to set the operating system to show also system and hidden files.

On the source PC

- Paste the

"%PROGRAMFILES%\Mares\IRIS2"  (on a 32 bit PC)
(alternatively, "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Mares\IRIS2")


"%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Mares\IRIS2"  (64 bit)
(alternatively, "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Mares\IRIS2")

string in "Start | Run" menu option and press ENTER key.

- Copy the dives.mdb file to an external storage (e.g. a USB pendrive).


On the target PC

- Paste the

"%PROGRAMFILES%\Mares\IRIS2"  (on a 32 bit PC)
"%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Mares\IRIS2"  (64 bit)

string in "Start | Run" menu option and press ENTER key.

- Copy the dives.mdb file from the external storage.

- Run IRIS

  or

- Run Dive Organizer, then use the "Database | Import > IRIS Database (MDB)" menu option.
