After you install the IRIS 2.3 software, when you plug your IRIS USB cable in you PC USB port, you can experience a "USB Not Recognized" error.

To resolve this issue you can try this optional steps:

1) unplug you IRIS USB cable, wait for some seconds and then re-insert your IRIS USB cable in the same USB port. The IRIS USB is now correctly installed and you receive a confirmation message. If the problem persist, try this step several time.

OR

2) if the Step 1 procedure fails, follow this steps:

2.a) "Right-click" on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, select "Properties" from the drop-down menu. The "System Properties" dialog box will be displayed.
2.b) Click on the "hardware" tab near the top of the properties window. Once the properties tab is selected, click on the "Device Manager" button. The device manager will open.
2.c) Expand "Universal Serial Bus Controller" option. If the “Universal Serial Bus Controller option does not appear, this indicates that your computer's
USB interface is disabled. To resolve this problem, see the related documentation that came with your computer to set the correct BIOS setting to enable USB on your computer).
2.d) If you see a "yellow exclamation", "Right-click" this option and select "Disinstall". Then unplug your IRIS USB cable.
2.e) Repeat Step 1.
